Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have answers! Here are some common questions we get from our South Florida neighbors about our specialized services.

1. What types of media can you digitize?

We handle everything – VHS tapes, camcorder tapes (like Hi8 and MiniDV), Betamax, 8-16mm film reels, photos, slides, negatives, audio cassettes, vinyl records, and DVDs. If you have something unusual, just bring it in!

It really depends on the project! For larger collections of tapes or photos, it’s typically 3-4 weeks because we take the time to do it right. However, smaller projects can often be completed much faster, sometimes even within 24 hours. When you bring your items to our store, we’ll give you a clear and accurate timeline.

Anything you want! The digital files we provide are perfect for sharing on social media, creating photo books, or editing into new home movies. If you’re new to digital files, don’t worry! We’ll be happy to walk you through the basics and suggest easy-to-use software.

Yes! We are experts at tape repair. A snapped cassette tape or one with mold doesn’t mean your memories are lost. In most cases, we can carefully repair the tape to a condition where we can safely digitize it for you.

We do! We understand that many of our neighbors have large collections of photos or video tapes. We offer special pricing for bulk photo scanning and can create a custom quote for large video or audio collections. Just ask us when you stop by!
